Hjalgar the Tiny - Guillermo del Toro's Trollhunters contest

This was my piece for Guillermo del Toro's art contest for his Netflix animated TV series Trollhunters.
The idea behind the contest was to create a new Trollhunter that fit within Guillermo del Toro's world he'd established for the show. With that in mind I thought it would be fun to create a very small Troll, so I put him on a table and to help give the impression of scale I made items from the show that already have an established size, like the Gnome, book and the horngazel (the thing he's standing on).
The armour and weapons are something that is passed down from one Troll to the next, so I kept the design the same as the Netflix show and adjusted the proportions to fit my Troll design.
